I don’t understand comments like these. Fanfics aren’t about canon things, they’re about whatever the fuck the author wants to write about. Just because Cirex isn’t your cup of tea doesn’t mean you get to make fun of anyone that likes it.
I myself just pair him off with Holiday’s sister because its cute but I mean, I don’t go bashing every pairing of him that I dislike because it’s not canon…
